OK I am going to try to type out the timeline of events as best as I can. I don't know where else to turn. Sprint can't help me and Google says its not them its the phone.
SO. I cracked my screen, I have the equipment protection so I go to sprint to see about getting my screen replaced. Tech guy at sprint says they can't change out the LG screens in store and it needs to be sent out. OK I guess. He says it needs to be factory reset in order to send it so my personal information isn't jeopardized. Ok I understand that. So tech guy backs up my pictures and I'm not sure what else. Then Factory resets the phone and sends it away. 2 weeks later I get my phone back. Sprint turns it on and it starts booting back up we get to the set up screen. It says "Set up your LG-LS777" I selected keep your apps and data option. Then it has me add in my google credentials, which I do. Then it asks me how I want to get my code. Without thinking I hit send me a text, not even realizing since that's the one that gets clicked normally out of habit. So of course since my phone wasn't set up I can't get the code to finish . Now it won't let me into the phone at all. It's an endless loop of Verify your account and when I do I get at the bottom of the screen it says "Unable to sing up device due to an unknown error. Please try another account or try to sign in again in 24 hours." I do not have any other Google account that has every been associated with this phone. This has been going on now for 3 months. I called google and they say they can't help me. Sprint tech guy says I need to order a kit from LG to send it back to them to have the software reflashed back onto the phone and start again, I go onto LG website and I can not locate anywhere that I can do that. I can't even find the phone on the LG website products page. If anyone knows how I can get ahold of the proper people at LG that would be amazing or if there are any other ideas... I have no more ideas left to try
