Lg tone or motor?

I bought the lg tone 730 and my phone is the Motorola g. I have it in an otter box on my hip, and it keeps saying lost connection, trying to pair. I have swapped it out once, and did it again today. Any ideas? I'm starting to think it is the phone.

Yes, I think it could be an issue with a phone. LG Tone 730 works flawlessly with my Note 2 and S5, in or out of the case, and even at 20-30ft distance. But early in the year when Verizon pushed the latest 4.3 update to Note 2, I had way too many BT related issues and ended up doing factory reset (which recommend with 4.3 update anyway) to fix everything.

I assume you tried using your phone out of Otterbox box case, and still see a problem?

Yea, even though it shouldn't affect, it still did it. And I haven't been having any issues this afternoon. Stopped by cspire, my provider, they said it could be the phone reconnecting. I just get aggravated when it does it 3 times within 20 minutes.
