LG V10 Dual-SIM Version

Uncle Vinny

Newbie
Hi guys,

As I've not seen it mentioned anywhere else, I thought I should post that the LG V10 version being sold in Hong Kong are all Dual-SIM. This makes an already fantastic phone even better!

More importantly, none of the other features like the RAM or on-board storage or Micro SD storage are changed.

It's true! I phoned HK LG headquarters myself. The HK version H961 is dual sim and I am getting one via a friend who is going there in 2 weeks. But it seems the white model is already started being sold on eBay in UK today !

Has anyone has any thoughts on or experience of the wireless charging Qi/NFC charger sticker, as I saw on You tube, for the V10. Is it s definite no, no (as it will ruin your phone) or something worth thinking about before the official wireless charging back cover comes out? The official one I imagine will be much more expensive, if the other one will do the job, any reason why not?

I'm definitely waiting for the official wireless charging back cover.

No way will I dick about with such a beautiful phone like the V10.

Here's a photo of the dual SIM. The one on the left is SIM2. The one on the right is SIM1 with the slot for the MicroSD.

WELCOME TO ANDROID FORUMS Uncle Vinny ! :thumbsupdroid:

Nice that you don't have to sacrifice a SIM Slot for an SD Card Slot/vice versa.
I think I can safely state that all of us here in the Western Hemisphere are a bit envious....... ;)
I would seriously consider importing if the bands were better suited for the North American carriers.
What is the exact model # that is stated under SETTINGS > ABOUT PHONE > HARDWARE INFO ?

The network stuff is a bit above my pay grade :) but we have 4G LTE here in Hong Kong, and both of my carriers (Smartone and China Mobile) say my phone will work fine in the USA (T-Mobile and ATT).

Beats the hell outta me!

It likely will, especially on AT&T's 3G bands, which are a perfect match, but, the 4G LTE bands that you have on your phone,at least in the stock/unrooted state (another discussion altogether) likely will not work.

I tell ya what,I'd be more than happy to do some testing/research in the interest of all here.
All it would take is for you to send me your device............................ ;) :D

My T-Mobile USA version doesn't have that second slot for a second sim. Oh how I wish it did though since I travel a lot for business.
