Help LG V10 H900 (AT&T) Fastboot No Devices

Hello, I have an LG V10 H900 (AT&T) but it is not being detected in fastboot. Only ADB commands work.
When I do "adb reboot bootloader", it restarts the phone and then when I try and run any fastboot command then it only displays the message "waiting for device". I have installed the correct LG Drivers for my device. I'm running windows 10 and In my device manager all the drivers are installed. Please help me with my Fastboot not being detected.

Go into device manager on your computer. Under USB devices, if you see a yellow exclamation it means fastboot driver either missing or not working. Update, reinstall or actually install, whichever the case. ADB, fastboot and recovery each require different drivers.

Under device manager if you don't see the exclamation, you may not have fastboot access. But I don't think that's the case here.

Maybe AT&T variants block fastboot access? I don't know for sure?

Hello Spec2nirvash thanks for your answer. I have no exclamation marks in my device manager (on Windows 10). Under Android Device I have "LGE Mobile ADB Interface" as the default driver. I have reinstalled this driver with no luck.

ADB commands work but Fastboot commands don't work. I'm not sure if it's the drivers or device which is the problem? I'm following the guide found here on LG's developer website http://developer.lge.com/resource/mobile/RetrieveBootloader.dev

Are you absolutely sure your phone is in fastboot? If you think it is, at command prompt type in 'ADB devices'.. if it DOES show the device serial, you're NOT in fastboot. Issuing 'ADB reboot bootloader' command, reboot, and still showing a serial under 'ADB devices' probably means you're locked out of fastboot, unless...o.. are you running a root script? Make sure you have both ADB and fastboot files in the folder you're running the script or issuing commands out of!

So to put into perspective, ADB commands will not be recognized if you're actually in fastboot and you cannot issue fastboot commands if still in ADB

If you tell me exactly what you're trying to do it may help.... so far I'm led to believe you're not able to get into fastboot. A missing or bad fastboot driver will NOT show in device manager unless your phone is in fastboot mode. Think two seperate phone modes, each with its own seperate driver. If the phone actually boots up, that's ADB ready. Fastboot is most likely going to be a blank, black or white screen for the entire duration, or it might even say bootloader in a top corner. Full boot=try agaIn!

Fastboot has probably been disabled and as far as the AT&T variant a bootloader unlock as far as i'm aware of isn't currently possible.

If i remember right it's the 10f build that can be rooted.

That's what I suspected, but I couldn't say for sure since I don't deal with too many ATT devices, don't have their service and, I stopped buying LG devices quite some time ago. Not all hope may be lost though.

There is the possibility that you can obtain and flash the 10f KDZ firmware so you can access fastboot. But it depends on a few things. If LG and/or ATT are dead set against you reverting to older firmware, they're gonna have extra safeguards in place to prevent you from doing so

That's what I suspected, but I couldn't say for sure since I don't deal with too many ATT devices, don't have their service and, I stopped buying LG devices quite some time ago. Not all hope may be lost though.

All I could find was the TOT files for my LG Phone and the Only KDZ file I could find was the latest version for this LG V10 H900 which is Android 6.0 via http://storagecow.eu/

Thanks James, would it be possible to downgrade with official KDZ? I found the tot files via www.storagecow.eu but it throws error 0x2000 (TOT antirollback version is smaller than device version)
