LG V20 Hiding Lock Screen Notifications vs. Second Screen

I just got my LG V20 a few days ago after returning Note 7. While I LOVED the thin width of the 7 for the comparable screen size and the always-on screen AND the pen, the V20 isn't bad. VERY nice looking in person compared to photos. Photos and videos on AUTO so far don't seem quite as nice as 7. Manual mode is nice, but color temp changes dramatically when moving from regular camera to wide-angle.

Anyway, after brief reaction, I am REALLY wanting to remove the presence of lock screen notifications and JUST HAVE THEM on the second screen. This also is happening while shooting video (VERY annoying) even though I completely turned off noticiations.

Any suggestions on how to accomplish this?

Thanks!

lock screen notifications - I have a feeling i have that turned off. please give an example.

on the photo thing - the wide angle cam being a different sensor/make/and density probably has alot to do with your color temp issue. I have to say I haven't noticed it yet but I've only used it to take pics inside buildings.

which isn't a far shot usually.

Wide angle of AUTO works reasonably well. Was shooting indoors. Only when I turn on manual that I have issues between regular camera and wide-angle.

Regarding the Lock Screen issue, I wonder it running 3rd-Party launcher may have something to do with it? I have uploaded a screenshot of what it looks like per your request. I have tried to turn them off in settings as well, but don't think I've hit upon on the right combinations yet.

Thoughts?

what launcher are you using?

I don't get lock screen notifications - and IIRC it's a setting under notification - hide all notifications while locked or something.

Otherwise - I have the other security feature where my notifications don't display full messages. IE I get a generic text icon - and said text messges.

not icon with name - and then short line of the message.

Also, one can remove the camera and phone icons via Settings, Lock Screen, Shortcuts . . . hit the delete (garbage can) symbol on the upper right, then check the shortcut you wish to remove . . .

@jaydub5 Thanks. I have already turned off Lock Screen Notifications in settings. I'll investigate your second suggestion. I am using a 3rd-party launcher, TSF. GREAT launcher, but do you think it may have settings that override Nougat/LG? I even have Lock Screen turned off

are there options for TSF and did that show up in your setting menu by chance? Because that is the likely culprit but I have to say I've not used it and I'm not familiar with it. I will look it up though.

As for your lock screen notifications.
Make sure your launcher isn't using its own lock screen over lapping LG lock screen. If it is, than your launcher lock screen settings need to be adjusted.

As for the camera, normal shot versus wide shot are switched by using zoom.
When in the camera you will see icons that look like one pine tree with a rectangle and another that looks like 3 pine trees with a rectangle.

Tap on those to easily switch back and forth between normal view and wide view.

Thanks for the tips. I haven't yet found a way to turn off TSF Launcher lock screen, but agree that is the probable culprit.

Finally discovered that I had inadvertently activated Notifier Pro which adds notifications to a lock screen. Once that was disabled, the notifications feed into the second screen. Now having seen that, those notifications seem to appear and then disappear TOO QUICKLY. Is there a way to make them stay longer?
