LG V30: How to get the app drawer back

You will probably notice the default launcher on the V30 doesn't have an app drawer. All of your apps are spread out on the home screen.
If you use a 3rd-party launcher, this isn't a problem, but if you use the stock launcher you might want the app drawer. Thankfully, LG has a way to get the drawer back.
  1. Go to Settings > Home screen
  2. Tap Select Home
  3. Choose Home & app drawer
  4. That's it!

I've had four "G" series phones from LG, now on the latest G6. In all of them, if you had your Home Screen set to "Home & app drawer", we could customize our app icons by long pressing the icon (adds a little purple paintbrush in the corner of icon to let you know it is now editable), which continues to let you choose any image to replace the stock image. I LOVE this ability to customize that was built into the LG UX. In the V30 however, if you long press an app icon it brings up the "app shortcut" (if available in that particular app). Does anyone know if there is a way to customize our app icons on the V30 since LG redirected the app icon long press to the different/new function?
