LG V40 is getting Velvet UI

I just read two article that said LG is updating some older phones with their new UI, called Velvet. I don't know when but here is a link to one article:

This came as a complete surprise to me.

I am surprised as well. Although I don't know much about Velvet, it's rare for a nearly 2 year old phone to get updates. Even the V35 is getting it.

Other than the few things listed, what do we have to look out for.

Just because the South Koreans like it doesn't necessarily mean it's good.
Just look at the LG Smart World. Seems like the crap on there is geared to pre-teen Koreans.
I don't look forward to it. Not one bit.

I'm not sure how much it will effect us, Pit. We both use Nova so that may override anything that Velvet does. I guess we will have to wait & see.

At this time it's only slated to come to devices in Korea. But time will tell.
