LG Volt Carrier Transfer

So i have the LG Volt Sprint prepaid edition and sprint doesn't provide a unlimited plan....so i asked if i could switch over this phone to boost mobile and they said quote "...at this time the Sprint's LG Volt is not yet compatible with our network. ^Jessica R." On there facebook.... how is this possible if they use the same exact towers?.....

It's not a matter of compatibility. That's just the easiest way to shut people down. They simply want you to buy the Boost Volt. There is a list of Sprint phones that can be switched to Boost, and the Volt is not on it. Inversely, you can't take any Boost or VM phones to Sprint, which makes even less sense.

Boost does not have any unlimited plans either though, so I don't see the benefit other than a slightly lower bill.

When i was on boost, i had 1 gb of untrottled internet then the rest was slowed down too 2g speeds.... but Sprint completely shuts me down

I've found the throttled speeds to be useless. Sprint has an unlimited, unthrottled plan for $60.

I feel ya.
When they were telling me their "Prepaid" phones weren't compatible with a contract account (all Sprint branded) I left them in Nov after 13 years, for Boost. Couldn't be happier. I always got Sprint spark in my area. Just got tired of the Sprint BS. The Boost versions always go on sale. Just bite the bullet, buy one, eBay your old one.

Unfortunately Boost wont be able to activate your Sprint LG Volt phone, even though the specs are compatible. If you want to switch I'd sell your current one and buy a Boost phone.

Boost Mobile has a list of some Sprint phones that you can BYOD if you don't want to pay for a new phone:

I placed an order, but today received "Backorder" email from VM.
I think it may be their mistake, and are weasling out of it

Their site currently says the Volt is Out Of Stock, maybe that's why you got the backorder email. Hopefully they'll honor the price
