Hello,
My name is Habibie and am a newbie here.
I am building a Digital PBX system (FreeSWITCH) with some WiFi extensions using any inexpensive Android smartphones. So far, I have an HTC A510 Desire Android smartphone under US $30 registered as my WiFi extension using its factory phone dialer and I must say it works pretty well.
Anyway, I recently just bought another inexpensive prepaid, sans a contract, LG Voltz LS740 under US $20. My plan is to use this as another WiFi extension to my digital PBX System sans a cell/data plan. Unlike my HTC A510 Desire Android smartphone, I lurked around on the factory phone dialer settings of my LG Voltz LS740 Android smartphone and could not find a way to enter any SIP credentials. Does this mean this factory phone dialer doesn't support a SIP registration or is there a hack to enable the factory phone dialer to support a SIP registration? I try to avoid installing any 3rd party SIP dialer, if possible.
