For an app to come up in the device manager selection box, doesn't the app need root access OR don't I need root access??
I had installed Easy Battery Saver from the Android Market.
After installation, I had gone into Location & security settings -> Select device administrators and lo and behold, there was Easy Battery Saver!
I normally get the message "No available device administrators", so I uninstalled Easy Battery Saver - it wasn't of much use anyway since I leave my wi-fi turned on (I have wi-fi at home).
