This book really was a life changer. I wouldn't have read it if I didn't buy the audio from audible and listen along. Probably would have fallen asleep and given up. But somehow following along with a narrator kept my interest.

Did the whole book on a few days and started and haven't looked back. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Just approach it with an open mind. You won't agree with everything but if you are willing to admit that your current way of life could use improvement, you will truly find value in this book, I believe.

Just curious... Did you listen to this as an audio book or did you read along with it? Big fan of books here, and love a good audio book as well, but so far I've kept them as completely separate things...

I bought the book through the Amazon Kindle app and then it asked me if I would like to add Audible narration for $3 so right as I started reading I immediately made the purchase without leaving the Kindle app.

Then, as you hint, I read and listened at the same time. The app would highlight the word or phrase currently being spoken so I visually followed along as I listened.

I've never read a book like that and it was FANTASTIC. When I'm only reading or only listening, I find I can get distracted and go several minutes where I'm not paying much attention and just going through the motions. And often if I'm reading only, I have a tendency to fall asleep.

The reading and listening combination, although sometimes feeling dramatically slow, kept me entertained and focused and I loved it. I will definitely be reading more books like that.

I do have to give some of that credit to this particular book though, as I really enjoyed it. One of the simplest books and it didn't share anything monumental, just reinforced things you've always known, but delivered in the right way at the right time that unlocks a pretty magical sense of enlightenment.
