Just got this new Brigadier to replace my Commando that was freaking out most of the time. I was able to negotiate an early upgrade with Verizon since they no longer support the phone and it refused to take any updates. The Commando would freeze and on reboot take up to 10 minutes.
So I have been using the Brigadier for about a month and so far its light years ahead of the Commando. I has a good camera that has a shutter button on the phones frame so it will work underwater!
My only small issue so far is a minor one with the messaging app. On my old phone when a message came in I would get a pop up on whatever screen was up. It was a setting on the menu that allowed for the pop up. Same program on the new phone and there is no option for the pop up under notifications. Weird.
Since its a stock message program I decided to try another one, with the same thing, no pop ups. Wonder why. I have no way to reach out to Verizon about this since the messaging is a stock program and other do not offer it.
