You can do all sorts of stuff with the mobile hotspot like limit how many devices connect and stuff like that. You can prevent data transfers between connected devices. The data packs are cheap if you use a lot of data on hotspots. Not bad for a $20 phone. Oh and the standby battery life is excellent.

If you run into a problem where it says you have to subscribe don't worry about it you are already subscribed just call verizon and they will remove that feature from your device that's what I did. And customer service is great he's calling me back in 20 minutes to make sure it works.
