Can I use a program like Odin v3.13.1 to flash Linage OS to an Android-x86 virtual machine?

I wanna see what it is like before I flash it to my galaxy s7 edge...
(rn im gonna see if they have VMS xD)

Odin is for .tar files, Lineage is a .zip you would need a custom recovery to flash it.

You could always do a backup in TWRP, flash Lineage and if it doesn't suit you, go back to TWRP and install the backup you made.

No, you should only use x86 ROMs for x86 devices anyways.. For the safety of your sanity and PC.

If you want to try Lineage in a VM, the X86 version can be found here:https://www.android-x86.org/releases/releasenote-cm-x86-14-1-r3.html Which is based on Android Nougat 7.1,
I've had it running quite happily, dual booting with Ubuntu on a Dell Latitude 5430 laptop. It is perfectly useable with the touchpad, but would benefit from a touchscreen.
