Evidently I'm having a senior moment. I tired to reach the new wearable face section http://androidforums.com/forums/watch-faces.3390/ but it appears the link is dead and I'm not finding it browsing...

It looks like the Faces sub has been merged back into the parent forum, which was renamed from Android Wear to Wearables. Aside from all that you were looking in the right place.

The Watch Faces forum was like an app announcement forum for watchfaces and used to be a subforum of the Android Wear forum.
