link2sd crashed, app installs but crashes on opening.

I tried installing the latest build from navit, but link2sd crashed when it was copying to the sd-card.
I did a uninstall and tried to instal the market version. After downloading i get the message that the installation was succesfull.
But i don't get the navit symbol on my app list. If I try to open the app the calling program crashes.

Someone an idea how i could fix this problem?

I'm running samdroid on a rooted spica.

Did link2sd link it the second time? If not tell link2sd to stop auto linking.

I just downloaded navit and link2sd linked it ok. When I open it I get an icon in my notifications saying navit is still running. When I touch it, it takes me to the market to download pname:com.svox.langpack.installer same thing when I try and start it from the app drawer. If I hit back however it takes me into navit.

I stopped auto link, so i think link2sd has set a refference somewhere in the phone that doesn.t exist anymore.
This is a wild guess, but seems the most logical.

The market version isn't the problem. I tried a nightly build one from thier site, to check some new features. With this version the crash happened.
After that moment if i install navt (any version) it can't find either the icon nor the program.

That's funny... I was using the market version and I ran into some issues just recently. I began to notice K9 was acting up BADLY. To the point I was about to rage quit and just go back to the default app, which seemed to work fine. But then I realized K9 saves emails to my SD card, which was a very high selling point for me to use it, so I kept fighting and fighting with it to get it working.

Ultimately I decided to uninstall and reinstall K9, which is where I ran into some issues. Link2SD came back with an error that /data/sdext2 was read only. Okay, fine. Except my partition isn't ext2, it's ext4. That threw up a red flag to me... Not only that, but I was having a decent amount of force closes as well...

Moving along, I was so frustrated I just decided to pull a backup, which was only 2 weeks ago. All of the sudden Link2SD is working perfectly.

I think what I'm going to do is update my phone as much as possible (I made some changes in the last 2 weeks) and run another backup. Then I'll update Link2SD (if there's a pending update - something makes me think there is) and then see if I can duplicate the problem.

Sorry I can't offer any help, but I wanted to throw my recent experience on the table.

Opened my file browser as root under linux en put the sd-card in my pc.
After that i deleted the org.navit.... file in data on the linked partion.
After reinstalling navit the problem was solved.
