Root Link2SD?? What did you do?

Newbie
So throughout the last couple of months I've had so so luck with link2sd. I don't really remeber if when I had versiuon 5 of the stock if it worked better but now with kit kat some apps work and some dont. Some crash and the story goes on. I've tried doing my second partition from EXT2 all the way to Ext4. Don't know what file the system has but I find myslef trying f2fs right now to see if I have better luck. Anyway what have you guys tried?Or what file system has worked for you? I read somewhere that you have to do the second partition as FAt32 when you have a custom kernel (everytime I flash I include the kernel) so this time I'm not gonna include it and see what works. Anyway what has worked for you guys? Please answer and then maybe I'll get a sense of what I might be doing wrong!!

I have custom kernel and I just followed the directions in the link2sd app. Everything worked great. The app tells you what you must format the 2nd partition as. I used an app in Google play called aparted to format my sd card directly on my phone.

I actually know how to partition and everything. This time I kept the custom kernel out and I get less crashing apps. I mean almost flawless. When I flash I use the custom deodexed rom then follow with Dolby, and the sdcardfix and last partition.. But I use the one that lets security options work. I'm sure that your supposed to use partition only once.. It's just habit.. Maybe iam doing something wrong. Also there's a new app called apps2sd root which in my opinion is link2sd on crack. You can even partition with it and folder mount. It's by Vicky bannocks
