I hate to ask... but are you sure your password and sign-in are correct? Is it the same gmail you use for your Market account?

Why do u ask. If it is then what. If it istn..same. do I need to do it from my comp or phone or simulitaneously

Sorry for missing this. Try adding the email account that the Youtube account is attached to to the device itself.
