Linux for Aspire one D255

Got an Aspire One D255 on its way and would like a distro of Linux that will run on it. I currently use Crunchbang on my old Aspire one, it is lightwieght and does everything I want - mainly web browsing and email.
Anyone got any experience of running linux on this particular netbook. Whcih Distro? Did it work "out of the box". Did i need new kernels, patches etc.. to get the hardware working?

Thanks

I have an Acer AO722 and will be installing linux on it shortly. I'm going to try my favorite distro called Trisquel but if the support isn't there I'll use Mint 11. Mint comes with the non-free drivers and various plugin support by default.

Thanks

I've been playing with a few, quite like, peppermint ice, archbang, lubuntu and mint so far.

Trisquel, I'll have a look at too.

The new gnome 3 interface is prime for netbooks. I'm running fedora 15 on my netbook. The look is right for netbooks, though I tend to prefer the older classic gnome myself.
