Live wallpapers quit working on ultimate droid

I have searched the forum for an answer to this question but I cant find one. If there is an answer out there already please forgive the post and point me in the right direction.

I am running the latest version of Ultimate Droid on the Motorola Droid. I had one of the live wallpapers set and it was working fine. Then I used Advanced Task Manager to kill all tasks and now none of them work. I looked through the list in Advanced Task Manager before I did it and noticed multiple processes running involving live wallpapers before I did it. I vaguely sensed that something may go wrong but I just figured any task would reinitialize them selfs. At least after a reboot and then I could figure out which tasks to exclude from the "kill all" action.

So I killed them all and thats it. None of them work now. They do work at the lock screen but as soon as you unlock the phone it goes to whatever standard wallpaper was set last.

Anyone experience this before? Can you please point me in the right direction?

Never experienced before, but the Droid OS is built to multitask don't kill tasks with a task killer. Anyways hopefully you have a Nandroid backup then just restore that.

I too kill off unneeded tasks. Get Advanced Task Manager from the Market and use it to manage your tasks. Then, exclude the wallpaper tasks from being killed off. (press and hold on the task and choose "Exclude" from the menu that pops up).

I was having problems with live wallpapers too. Did use automatic task killer but i got away from it and use system panel which I like a lot better. If you use a task killer you must make sure that live wallpapers are set as an exception, like nobrien1 says. otherwise it will keeping killing the wallpaper.
