Hi all,
I have a HP slate 21 in my kitchen with I am using as a picture frame and android tablet....
Anyway, I am trying to use Llama to control when the display is on and off. I plan to have the tablet on all the time (to save hitting the tablets power button to switch on and off), and then schedule events in llama to switch the screen on and off.
Generally, this is working as expected. However, now and again, the display is left on when it should turn off at night.
I check the Llama event history, and can see my events firing, yet the screen is still on. This happens every so often.. most of the time its all fine.
So some details...
* All my actions are standard Events, based on just day of week and time
* For the off display events, I have them repeat every 5 minutes (just in case the event is missed, the next 5 minutes will catch and power down)
* I have the android DreamTime for photo display - set with a 10 minute pause (10 minutes, so it does not inturrupt the llama schedules)
* Screen off and on events do just that - either turn the display on or off. No other changes - so wifi left o
