Load and run a HTML file

Hi all.

I have a standalone HTML file that I want to load onto my android 4.1.1 phone and put a shortcut to it on the desktop, so it can be loaded and run from there.

Can someone please explain simply how I do that?

Copy the file to your android.

Using an android file manager, launch the file which will bring up a browser displaying your file.

Save a shortcut to your home screen using the browser options.
