Help loading music files

I have a moto x 2nd Gen I am trying to listen to music on my phone. Music will load up ok but will not play. I Will look in my internal docs and see the music files but grayed out what am I doing wrong in the up load process. Or is it the phone

No its all internal storage

What are the file types? Perhaps your device can't handle them eg flac files

I'm am just syncisyncing them thru windows media. I'm pretty sure they are wmva. Is there a better program to use

OK, for some reason the device doesn't support wma although it is supposed to. Try to convert one of your files to mp3 or download an mp3 file and test whether it works.

So the mp3 file worked but all my files are in wma. What would be a good program to convert and upload audio files
