Locale icon help

Is there any way to get rid of the the stupid red balloon locale icon that shows up in the notification bar? I can't stand having icons up there, its a pain to clear them

Yeah...stop using Locale.

local ruined my phones performance, as soon as I removed it, I ran good again.

I would LOVe to use it, but they need to reduce its processor footprint

I am co-creator of Timeriffic, try it out. It is not as fancy, but in that good battery not draining kind of way. It turns your phone sound on and off based on time. More features are s-l-o-w-l-y coming.
