Hi, I've just switched over from Nokia X-C2 to Samsung Galaxy S Advance I9070, which has GingerBread OS. I'm from India. I want to register in google play store, however, i've one security related question. Will registering in google play store reveal my location details ?? Requesting help..

The phone has a GPS device, so yes it will tell Google that you are in India so that it will show you the promos and apps available in India. But even if you don't register, the network knows your location using cellular triangulation. They can do that on your old Nokia too, so there won't be a difference in how secure you were on your old phone and your new one.
