Help Location fd://33 cannot be played

This keeps popping up on my nVidia Shield tablet. "The location at fd://33 cannot be played". This started around the time I installed a proprietary Bluetooth remote control app for a stereo. I uninstalled it but the error keeps popping up. I don't have much Linux /Android insight so any help at all would be great.

Thanks
Ed

I have this issue, except mine is fd://31 and I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge on Android 6.0.1.

I know the circumstances when it occurs in my case, though I'd prefer it didn't happen at all.

Let's say I'm watching YouTube (or media in another app), then get in my car (Mercedes) and connect to Bluetooth. If I hit play on the in-car stereo immediately, I'll get the error. Basically if my audio player (Spotify) is not the focus app or last played, I will get the error. So frustrating.

My guess is that your Bluetooth device is attempting to play automatically once connected, and your tablet is not focused on an app which can play media. As a test, try launching a music app and see if the error stops coming up.
