Location issues

Hi All
Sorry if this has been covered before but haven't been able to find a similar issue.
I have an HTC10 on O2 which when I visit my Mum suddenly thinks I am in London which is approx 180 miles away. I have tried using just Mobile Data, WiFi etc but still it will not give me the correct location. I have even had a new handset recently as I smashed my screen and the new handset is doing the same thing. All other devices in the house on either Mobile Data and or Wifi are showing the correct location. I can't quite get my head around it.

When you are at your Mum's have you tried getting a location with GPS switched on?
(preferably in 'Device only' mode).

You may have to try outside the building to get a decent GPS signal.

Even in 'High accuracy' mode GPS location should override wifi and mobile network geolocation to give you an accurate location.

It is possible for wifi geolocation to give a totally incorrect location whereas mobile geolocation will always give a reasonably accurate location depending on your position relative to the network masts but in 'battery saving' mode this may be overridden by wifi geolocation. At home mobile network geolocation puts me 600 metres from my actual position whereas wifi geolocation puts me within a few metres of my hub/access point.

first you turn off your mobile phone and take out your sim card and wait at least 5 min then you put sim in on the phone and turn on your mobile phone your problem will be solved. Thanks

Just curious as to how you think that will solve the problem?
