Help Lock Screen notification toogle missing

Can anyone help? I just got the Galaxy Note 8 and I love it... BUT now my notification toogle for the lock screen is now missing, which the first day that I had it, it was there! I have looked and looked and it is no longer there. I have looked at you tube videos and it is a n their screens shots/phone.... But not mine.... what happened?? It's driving my crazy.... Lol

what carrier are you on?
have you rooted or disabled any apps?
did you buy the note from samsung or from your carrier directly?

from that screen, i also have secure lock settings, as well.

i see under "screen lock type" you have it set to none. what happens if you change that to use fingerprints, or face detection?
 
Thank you, apparently you have to have one of the security settings on for it to work. I can at least use the trusted sites to keep the security settings to a minimum. Thank you again for the suggestion! 😊
