Lock Screen Notifications

So with Lollipop 5.0.1 the notifications show up on the lock screen. This is fine, but it makes the clock on the lock screen really small and pushes it up to the left top corner. Is there a way to keep the clock on the lock screen from getting pushed to the rear? I like the notifications, but I would like to see them under the clock.

I haven't observed any option or feature to fix this yet. Will update here if found any.
