Lock screen stays on

I got my phone probably about 4-5 months ago, so it's a new phone. Just last night the phone started to not lock, and stay open on the lock screen. I can lock it, but it will immediately turn back onto the lock screen, and it is draining my battery unless I turn off the phone. Please help, I don't have the money for Verizon workers right now.

There is something 'waking' the phone. I suggest you run some diagnostics, either from Samsung or one of the many apps available in the the play store. It will show you which app is keeping your phone on. Alternatively do some reverse engineering and think if there are any apps you recently installed and then the problems started...
