I updated my HTC M8 yesterday to version 5.0.2 (against my better judgement), and now the pattern lock screen is tiny. It is literally half the size, which is ridiculous for those of us with large fingers, or for the physically impaired. I prefer not to change to a PIN unlock, so does anyone know of a way to restore the original lock screen? If I thought I could easily downgrade to the old version, I would do so. I don't know whether to rant at HTC, or Android in general, but stop messing about with things that don't need to be changed!!
This is why I try to avoid updates, but HTC choose to put update messages all over the lock screen which can't be removed until you update. Thanks a bunch you muppets.
