Help Lock screen wallpaper problem

Hi
I installed the system software update last night for my S3 and since then the wallpaper for my lock screen has reverted to the standard dandilion picture. I tried to set it as I had it before but its has not worked.

Any advice?

thanks Colin

Did you do the samsung firmware/os update thru Kies OR is your phone rooted?

On the stock phone you could select any picture -> invoke context menu -> Set picture as -> wallpaper.

On the stock phone there's no way to remove the wallpaper. The workaround to getting rid of wallpaper is to take a 100% dark picture and set that as your wallpaper.

Hope this helps.

Hi
The update just appeared for download and install.
I have tried the various standard ways to change the lockscr wall paper ( as I had done this successfully before ), but the new wall paper does not appear after I press "save" in gallery

solved.....the QuickPic app was causing the problem...i uninstalled it and was able to laod the new lockscreen wallpaper.

That's one way to do it. I also noticed if you go to the default Gallery app
Set picture as
Lock screen wallpaper
Crop picture
