I was thinking to get an Optus (Australian carrier) Samsung S7 phone on a post-paid plan.
I wonder how the Android monthly security updates work: is it like in the US that phone owners have to wait the carrier to push them even when they're ready available for the unlocked version of that phone? Sometimes those US users have to wait months and months.. and to be honest I was planning to get a Samsung phone just for this regular updates (Motorola for example doesn't do them anymore or ofter they are very late). Thanks
