LockPicker: MUST have for anyone using the phone for Business!

Kelmar

Done by choice
I recently set up my work email on my personal phone as it is more convenient than opening a laptop to respond to emails. When I got it set up, it also asked for an exchange security password! I set the password up and went about life as normal.

The next time I unlocked the lockscreen to use my phone I not only had to unlock the lockscreen but also the pattern lock (which was on by my choice) AND the exchange security password!!! What a complete PAIN!

I did some searching and found an app called "lockpicker" and installed it. I was very pleased when I opened it and activated it I found that it made it so that I did not have to enter a microsoft exchange security password!

This is a MUST HAVE application for anyone who is bothered by the microsoft exchange security password that their employer sets up on their email account!

No pictures are needed for this review as this app just plain WORKS!!!

Hi, I loaded your app onto my Desire running a stock ROM and using Touchdown.

It didn't work. Still had to enter a PIN every 30 minutes.

Agree 100%.

Having to enter a password everytime the screen went black was a huge PIA.

I'm sure my IT team wouldn't be happy.

Hi,

I'm running Froyo on my HCT Desire and didn't want to enter my pincode every 15 minutes, so i wrote my own app!

This is not a service, it simple set this value to whatever you want!
The name is "ExtendLockTime" and it's free on Android Market.

So the only time I have to enter my code is when the phone restarts!
