Lockscreen Issue (T-Mobile)

Every once and awhile when my phone locks the lock screen slides over and I can't put in my patterns. This happen maybe once a day. Has anyone else experienced this issue? The only way I can fix it is by turning the phone to landscape mode and hitting the emergency button and exiting the emergency call area.

This also happens to my sister's phone. Mine is fine. We can't figure out why hers (and yours) does that. Anyone else have this issue?
