Lockscreen notification shade coming down?

Hey guys

is the notification shade (the pull down shade) supposed to be working in the lockscreen? I thought that it shouldnt in the lockscreen (just the swipe to unlock)

Works on mine too when it's just a swipe to unlock mate
Doesn't happen if there's a pin lock though.

Bit strange. Other android phones dont do that

Sounds like a good thing. If you don't have a pin to secure your phone, then it would be nice to not have to unlock the phone to see notices. I often look at my phone throughout the day when I get a notice tone. It would be one less step several times a day.
