Lockscreen notifications

Okay so this is purely cosmetic but I HATE these butt ugly big white box notifications on the lockscreen. I have literally just finished a software update to 6.0.1 and i'm just taking a look at anything new that might interest me.. But is there another launcher or anything that people recommend that can give me something better than these white boxes. They're just awful imo.

Try a theme perhaps?
I'm not much into theming myself, but, perhaps there's something in the theming that might change the notification look/feel.
Otherwise, a 3rd party lockscreen is probably your best bet.
