How do i log out of google talk

Hi and welcome to androidforums! 
This is me on hangouts, the new gtalk, but way to log out is the same way.
go to gtalk where all your contacts show then select the menu button on your phone and select settings then scroll down till you see sign out. Please report back if you have anymore questions.
If it dosn't show up on gtalk i think you may have to select your account on settings then you should see a sign out option.
