login & password confusion

[Android Question]

I keep getting a recurring message on my Android Galaxy S II which says I have entered the wrong password for my gmail account or my account has changed. Please re-enter my password. Yet I won't let me, as only the back button can be used.

I have logged out and back into my gmail account online several times, and this only recurs on my phone. It doesn't seem to affect my online capability in this account.

Hi, welcome to Android Forums. Sorry for the delay in getting to your question.

I have two suggestions: first, go to Settings > Applications > Applications Manager > Gmail, then clear cache and data. Then try logging in.

If that doesn't work, my second suggestion is to perform a factory reset on your Samsung Galaxy S II.
