Help Lolipop Chrome browser expands all bookmark folders when saving bookmarks

Whenever I went to save a bookmark in chrome it would always expand (and have no way to collapse) all the bookmarks folders, which was extremely annoying because after syncing with my desktop, I had hundreds of folders and the mobile bookmarks folder was at the bottom!

I have a workaround which is to clear the Chrome Cache and sign in with a new gmail address but this isn't good enough! Stop expanding all folders on bookmark save Google!
