Help Lollipop 5.0.1 Messing Up Multiple Email Accounts?

I accepted the 5.0.1 update from Verizon, and my email handling went in the tank compared to the previous version. I have multiple email accounts including gmail, and they ALL are delayed now for updating and viewing so bad that I'm ready to back up to the previous Android version. The "new" features I didn't ask for don't begin to compensate for the messed up email handling time. Some help here?

You need to tell us which device - manufacturers and carriers both modify the base 5.0.1, so your problems are likely to be specific to the Verizon update for that particular model, possibly specific to the particular email app. Have you tried a different email app, or checked the sync settings of the one you have (the stock email app has probably been modified by the update, so worth taking a look)?

Reverting on an unrooted device isn't necessarily easy, and certainly how and whether you can do this depends on the device, so again we need to know what phone you have before we could advise on that.
