Long time lurker, new Android convert!

Newbie
Hi all, I recently picked up a Galaxy Nexus, and it finally convinced me to return to an OS that is not produced by a fruit company! Back in the day I was a heavy BB modder and user, then got lured into iOS for a while.

I am really glad to be back on an OS where I have a lot of control, and absolutely love the GN hardware. Seriously I feel more like I am holding a minicomputer than a cell phone, and I am excited to learn more from the knowledge base in these forums. Please say hi and provide any 'newbie' tips you feel are worthwhile, I am an open canvas.

On the hardware side, I have been through the Droid X, X2, Bionic, and a short and painful stint with an LG Ally. The GN blows them all away. Currently on stock ROM with ADW launcher, and things are stable enough for me. I haven't rooted yet, but I'm sure that will come in time. I want to familiarize myself with stock ICS first.

Thanks for great discussions, I'm excited to join the community!

Best Regards,
Eric

Good call, I don't think you'll regret the $300. Yes it is a lot of cash, but I haven't looked back once.
