Looking for a Color Coded Calendar - like Treo 755p

Had a Treo 755p & LOVED my calendar! Just got a Droid and I HATE Google Calendar. I can't believe such great company hasn't listened to the users (look at all the posted all over the web!) and altered it to have color coded categories in ONE calendar. I'm really torn about the fun apps vs. the calendar I LOVED (tasks and notes were better too). I'm still within my 30 days, so unless I can find a 30-day color coded calendar view, I may just take it back.

Has anyone found an app that works like the Palm calendar? I'm desperately searching and having no luck.

My google calendar is color coded. Blue for my appts, Pink for my Wifes, Red for Birthdays, etc... You just have to setup from the website first.
 
I use Jorte, CalWidget, Gemini(for bi weekly appointments) and the stock Agenda view of the stock Calendar.

Gives you everything you need for a productive setup.

Put a link to Jorte on your home screen, then for the Calwidget, set that up to go to the Agenda view of your stock calendar(which is looks good and productive to review).

This is a highly requested feature? All over the web? Maybe you'd have to do a search for it specifically or something because I'm on at least 4 different android forums and just haven't seen that request yet.

So you'd return your phone because you haven't found out how to color-code agendas? Different strokes for different folks I guess. I saw an app that does what you want, but can't think of the name right now. I'll post it if I find it.

I have just downloaded it, not yet installed.

Full color and loads of options.
Links to Google Calendar - I don't know if it will give us all the options on the phone.

I used it for years with my Palm - very versatile, very customizable and configurable and good support.

Right now it is a desktop tool but maybe the link to Google will migrate.

I have the same issue...just switched from a palm centro to the htc hero. The biggest thing I miss about the centro is the calendar with multiple colored categories. I did what all the suggestions said by transferring to Outlook, then to Google, but the categories were not transferring. I tried multiple applications but was not satisfied. I just downloaded the trial version of DejaOffice, and it is the most similar to Outlook & Palm. It provides with mutliple personalized categories. The only thing is that it does not have a widget.
