Looking for a day/date widget.

I'm guessing that the title about says it all. After my bout with covid, im still having trouble keeping track of the date and the day of the week. Not wanting a clock widget... Just want something that has the date and the day of the week, preferably in a 4 x 2 size, or larger, to add to my home screen.

One solution would be to use something like KWGT and make your own. It does come with some pre-made options as well (a lot of clocks, and most include a clock, but you can easily edit out stuff you don't want).

I've used Beautiful Widgets for all sorts of home screen widgets. It's got several nice stock day/date widgets as well as all sorts of configuration options and themes

Everything is centered around either clocks or weather. I'm just looking for a SIMPLE day/date widget.

I emailed the Kustom team and asked for some advice and help figuring out the KWGT app. They were very helpful in helping me figure out what I needed to do.

I've used SD Digiclock by Silent Designs for years. You can choose what colors you want the day, date & time displayed, and what size font (different size for time & day/date is possible) and how opaque you want it all to be. I like white characters with full transparency so I can see my homescreen behind it. It is just a widget & very easy to use.
