Looking for a decent stereo headset with boom mic.

Hi all, just joined an looking forward to learning as much as possible... and having fun too.

I am a truck driver, and have been searching for a good stereo headset that has a boom mic, preferably earbud style to block out the outside noise a little.

These can be wired or bluetooth either way, bluetooth if the sound is good and the battery life is over 5hrs constant play.

I am hoping that someone is aready using something that they could recomend. I have searched Google, and found stuff, but it's pricey and i don't want to get something that sucks and is expensive too.

anyway.. thanks for any help... and I am looking forward to learning more about my Droid too.. really want to root it, and get a nice custom ROM on it eventually.

Thanks again.

I am sure the Bose will sound great but they will be not work driving a Semi truck... the Bose web site says it is an omnidirectional mic, on the cord.

There is so much background noise in a truck that no-one can hear me clearly. I have tried the best noise cancelling bluetooth headset.. a Jawbone.. and it sucks too. The only thing I have found that works is a boom mic right in front of your mouth. Every truck stop sells those.. but few are stereo output.

Thanks for the suggestion though. If I stop driving a truck.. which may happen pretty soon, I will look at the Bose again.

Bluetooth Stereo Headset With Boom Microphone - Nokia Cell Phones Bluetooth Headset
there $29, i have had a pair for over a year, i flog them every day, doing 20-80 calls a day, battery range is great 4-12 hours, mic is better than holding the head set to your head, i listen to music in between calls, can recharge them almost any where, 12v plugs (cigarette lighter) to usb charger are $2 each on ebay.I wear them for 1-6 hours a day = comfortable, they are over the head type, around the next will give you a head acke after a few hours. In the car no noise has been complained of. Sound for music is about 7/10 yes there are better sounding head sets for deep bass but for calls you can hear clients perfectly always. the controls on the sides work well, i big plus. overall loudness is 8/10 they wont go loud enough to mega deafen you but loud enough to play air guitar.
cheers
