Looking for a good altimeter app

I am looking for a good free altimeter app for Android that will not bug you wt popups and downloads. Any suggestions?

Do you need a barometric altimeter app, obviously your phone must have a pressure sensor to use that, or would a GPS based one do?

For many years, I've been using Ulysee Gizmos to determine altitude (among other things). It's small, free, and works great. It's does a bunch of other cool stuff too, like:
- Compass
- Speedometer
- GPS status/satellite tracker
- Bubble level
- Clinometer
- Magnetometer
- Map view
- Location/waypoint address & coordinates
- Location/waypoint exchange
- Etc.
