Looking for a good case

Hello,

So now that I spent 500$ on this little machine, I need a good case that will protect it if I drop it or anything. So I am looking for a case like Otterbox Commuter or something like that. I want something tough, but I don't think I need the most extreme protection. So I saw Roxfit, Otterbox, Incipio. They seem to be good cases with a good shock protection.

I went to an electronic store and they told me they could install a plastic film on the screen that will protect it against shocks and scratches. Is it worth it?

And I think I should buy a magnetic charger cable. I guess that over time, the waterproofness of the phone will be compromised because I would open the flaps all the time to charge the phone. So basicaly, I would need a case that has an opening only for the magnetic charger.

Is it worth it to put something like a plug to close the headphone port?


So do you have something to recommend? Anybody had the same questions before?

I have bought just about every case out there and there is one clear winner (for me at least):

It's $1.48 ! Only $1.48! But it comes from China, so it takes a few weeks. Trust me, it's worth the wait. It's a really nice rubbery / soft feeling matte exterior, and is just enough protection.

Especially if you are a fan of "gel" cases.

Personally I dislike the magnetic charger cable. Reason being, I often use my phone when it's charging, and the magnetic thing tends to come off pretty easy during handling.
