Looking for a Location Toggle...

Hello All..

I have poured over the Play Store looking for an app I can install on my kids phone that will either remind her or automatically toggle on her Location Setting from Off when she is home ( which can be mapped by wifi home network and not gps), to On when she leaves our wifi range. She always "forgets" to put it ON when she leaves for school and park and when she does remember..she forgets to shut if OFF once she comes home. Does anyone know of anything like that or maybe a WIFI toggler that includes that function?

Sounds like a job for Tasker or Llama. I'm not versed in either, but the premis of both is changing setting automagically depending on the environmental parameters (location, time, etc) chosen.

It might be easier to combine the AutoLocation plugin in Tasker. I looked through some of the geofencing apps and this might be your best bet.

With root and secure settings, Tasker can toggle gps.

Without root, Tasker cannot toggle gps. But it can pester your child with notification sounds, vibration or whatever from the time they leave home without gps until it sees that they have toggled gps on.
