Looking For A Particular App

So I need some help. I wiped my Android device this morning and restored it as it was starting to run slow and Nova Launcher was consistently having to redraw itself and the battery was running down quickly.

I've been able to restore all the apps save one which I really would like to have back. It's an app like YouTube that you have to side load, it's usually red in color, can search across about 10 to 12 websites for audio and/or video. Then there's a little downward turned arrow in the bottom right corner that shakes when it wants to get your attention in order to download the video or strip out the video and it'll just download the audio.

Sadly I thought it was on the SD card which I removed before I wiped but it wasn't so I lost it and now I can't find it on the net. Any help if anyone remembers the name would be appreciated...

Actually I found it. It's called Snaptube, it somehow found its way on to my device a while ago and is a great little app that I'm fond of. But yes, I do understand where you're going and it is THE ONE AND ONLY app that I side load as I very much understand the danger of going outside the Play Store. But I've had it for a year and it's not caused any trouble, it's been a good little app and minded itself...

Seriously, thanks again...

I'm not judging you (well, maybe a little) but beyond the TOS violations, you should really look at those permissions.

It might be an indication why your phone was slowing down ... could be some nefarious shenanigans going on here.
