Root Looking for a ROM

Hello,

I am looking for a ROM for my One V. So far I have found Modaco.one and OnePrimo, but this being my first android phone, I'm not sure if there are any better options. What are some good ROMs I should look at? Thanks!
 
Right now that's all we have. I'm presently running MoDoCo and it's just like stock but slimmer and sometimes smoother.

I can't wait to see CM9 on the thing!

Also, for the Modaco...what is the difference between Sense and Vanilla? I flashed the Vanilla and it seems similar to the stock ROM with a few visual differences...nothing has changed as far as the eye can see.
 
So Vanilla and Sense are almost the same? Will I notice any difference if I flash Sense?

Do you know where I can find OnePrimo...All the link I've tried seem to be dead.
 
MoDaCo Sense is sense without bloatware and some performance tweaks. There isn't a huge difference but it's enough that I prefer it.

I don't know about One Primo.
 
I feel like an idiot for asking this but...how do I delete contacts on Modaco Vanilla? Long pressing doesnt seem to bring up anything...no menu option anywhere that I can see.
 
I flashed One Primo but didnt like it as much as MoDaCo so I flashed back to MoDaCo but now my 3G doesn't work. I get this message when I try to connect to 3G

Connection failed due to incorrect APN setting

any iddeas?

EDIT: nevermind I figured it out...just have to re-enter the APN settings after I facotry defaulted.
 
Hey Cafe, I cant seem to set a custom ringtone (mp3) on my phone. I put the mp3 into a "Music" folder onthe root of the sdcard but when I enter Settings > Sound > Phone Ringtone and push the little "add" button on the top right, nothing happens. Am I puttin the mp3 in the wrong folder?

I can put mp3s into a "Notifications" folder on the sdcard root directory and those will work for notification sounds....weird
